Who runs this site

wowforevermanual.com is maintained by a small, independent team of long-time World of Warcraft players. The site has no publisher, no sponsor and no gatekeepers.

Why this site exists

Forever information was scattered across announcement posts, forum threads and datamining tweets. There was no single place that answered the practical questions — what changed, is this bug known, should I respec, which class should I level — and no place that told you how confident to be in any given number. We built the source-first hub we wanted to exist: fast, mobile-first, no login, structured well enough that a search engine can send players straight to the right page.

What we publish

• Release & editions — launch facts, edition contents and the pre-launch timeline, sourced to Blizzard.
• Patch hub & Patch Diff — every recorded beta build with a before/after diff of what each one changed.
• Beta Issue Center — known issues with symptoms, diagnosis steps and any official fix or community workaround, each clearly labelled.
• Forever vs Classic — class and system comparisons, row by row.
• Reference & tools — ability and class references, racials, a class-picking guide, and a talent calculator with shareable builds.

How our data is sourced

Every fact-bearing record carries four fields: the source ids it comes from, the build version it was observed in, the date it was last checked, and a confidence label. Our sources are split into Blizzard (official) and named community reporting, so you can always tell which is which on the Source Ledger.

Confidence means exactly what it says:

• Confirmed — stated directly by Blizzard.
• Observed — seen in a specific build or client.
• Reported — credible community reporting we have not independently verified.
• Unverified — plausible but unchecked; we say so rather than guess.

We would rather leave an honest gap than invent a number. Where a value is unknown or a tooltip changed between builds, we say so inline instead of filling it in.

Corrections & disputes

If you find a wrong rank, cooldown, date, or a source that no longer supports the claim, please email contact@wowforevermanual.com. We read every message and normally reply within 48 hours. Meaningful corrections get a note on the affected page.

We reproduce Blizzard icons and reference Blizzard names for identification, commentary and reference in an unofficial fan resource, and we claim no ownership of them. Our own editorial writing and data structure are original.

• Testers — if you can reproduce a bug on a specific build, that is the highest-value contribution. Include your client version and steps.
• Corrections — wrong numbers and broken source links directly improve the ledger.
