WoW Forever professions guide
Forever keeps the Classic profession system — no Dragonflight-style quality tiers — but adds new recipes, a recipe re-tune for leveling, and the new Camping system. This page tells you what changed, what each trade builds at a camp, and, unlike most guides, what you should actually take.
How professions work in Forever
Same as Classic, with more reasons to use it
- · You can hold two primary professions and all three secondary professions (Cooking, First Aid, Fishing).
- · The profession cap is 300, as in Classic — this is not the Retail/Dragonflight crafting system.
- · Crafting still uses fixed material requirements; crafted items always have the same stats (no quality tiers).
- · A quest around level 3–4 lets you pick a free gathering manual: Herbalism, Mining or Skinning.
- · The new Camping system gives professions outdoor objects to build at a campfire.
- · Account-wide Legacy perks (up to 16 points per character) also touch professions.
